My Thoughts on the Thrilling Movie “Silent House”
The 2011 released horror film, “Silent House” is one of the must-watch movies for halloween season. Directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, this movie has managed to create a sense of suspense all throughout the story. Here’s my take on the movie:
The Storyline
The story of “Silent House” is centered around Sarah (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and her father who are cleaning their old family house for an auction. However, while they are in the process, they discover there’s someone in the house with them and tries to harm them. The twist? It all happens in real-time which creates a sense of dread as you experience each moment with Sarah.
The Plot
The plot of this movie is interestingly done because it’s almost like experiencing a haunted house. Each room Sarah enters seems more terrifying than the last as she begins to feel like she’s not alone in her childhood home. The tension is built up slowly until it reaches its boiling point at the end – which I won’t spoil!
The Casts
The star of the movie is Elizabeth Olsen who plays Sarah, and she really shines in her role. She was able to convey the fear and desperation of her character so well that it made me feel as if I was there with her. The supporting cast also did a great job at keeping the suspense going, which made for an overall satisfying experience.
